Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Driving from Athboy to Navin their was sustained hail as big as marbles the whole way. With thunder and lightning along the way too. Then patchy sleet from Navin to Drogheda, between 23:00 and 00:00.

    Well North Rona ended up recording a mean speed of 108mph with gust to 134mph There are suggestions that this is the 2nd strongest lowland gust in UK on record

    North Rona is an Island off the NW tip of mainland Scotland. It's a national reserve.

    A sleepless night and hardly any trains are running in Scotland. Major bridges across the road network are closed with some of the motorways closed as well.

    My fence looks as if it withstood the wind but the concrete that holds the posts are moving in the soaking ground and the fence looks warped.

    We had loads of lightning aroung 5-6 am this morning. The wind although gusty, wasnt too bad and came more in waves rather than constantly.
