Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Both desperately slow!

Nice start for Joyce, scoring and gloves up.

Joyce looks so slow when Dubois puts pressure on him.

    1-1

    1-1

Even now. Nothing too clean landed yet though and I’m impressed at Joyce’s ability to evade. He’s using his jab well but no commitment

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭generalgerry

Seems like Dubois has timed Joyce's jab, not getting hit anywhere near as much as in the first. Surely only a matter of time before Dubois catches him.

One apiece, smartest fighter I'd say Dubois has ever faced.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,877 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Joyce round for me. Dubois breathing heavily and looking unsure of himself

2-1 JJ just about. DDD very little head movement and spent the round eating jabs after having an early flurry.

Yea needed a breather after the flurry

Both have no speed. Looks like they're fighting in a swimming pool full of honey.

Joyce took the punches well all the same. This is a great fight, back and forth. Still don't know who's gonna win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,938 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

That was a close round but I think I'd just give it to Dubois.

Based off this, neither lad looks like they will threaten at proper world level..

Neither will be fighting any of the big boys any time soon.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,877 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Joyce looking the stronger man dictating all of the terms here. Dubois needs to win a puncher’s fight now he’s not good enough to beat him in boxing. 3-1 for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,756 ✭✭✭Brock Turnpike

    3-1 JJ.

    Jabbing very well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,710 ✭✭✭Joeseph Balls

    Close 3-1 imo ??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,938 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

That's deffo a Joyce round for me

    I'm seriously impressed by Joyce.

Dubois best shot is his right power shot, but it is struggling to get through Joe’s jab..can’t get through it or over it properly..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56,620 ✭✭✭✭walshb

    Dubois landing real decent now!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 157 ✭✭Liamo57

Hope Joyce loses and he might be the first in his fmily to earn a decent living by getting a job and paying tax.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,877 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Better round from DDD that’s 3-2 for me. Joyce still causing problems and he’s looking the fresher

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,756 ✭✭✭Brock Turnpike

    3-2 JJ

DDD best round of the fight by far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,710 ✭✭✭Joeseph Balls

    Better round from DDD, 3-2

    Worthless contribution.

Better round there from Dubois. 3-2 Dubois now for me.

    3-2 Dubois for me.

Seems like he's starting to take over. He doesn't look great in the corner though!!

    3-2 Dubois.

I actually think both are looking better than anything we've seen from them before.

This is a decent fight and both being tested !

I have it 3-2 to Dubois.

Yeah agreed, big thing we are seeing is fight iq.

Dubois's left eye is swelling bad by the looks of it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,877 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Very hard round to score there I think JJ ahead by a point still

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,710 ✭✭✭Joeseph Balls

Give that one to Joyce, close, few nice jabs near the end too.
    4-2

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,756 ✭✭✭Brock Turnpike

Close round that. Hard to score but giving it to JJ for the jab work again.

    4-2 JJ

    Another for Dubois

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,938 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Joyce for me in.thst one 3-3.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,980 ✭✭✭Big Ears

Joyce is the one with the gas tank here.
I reckon Dubois will have to hurt him in the next couple if he's to win this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,131 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

    Big Joe just keeps coming.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,877 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Bang even now for me. Good round for DDD but he took some punishment. Battle of wills now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,756 ✭✭✭Brock Turnpike

    DDD round

    4-3 to JJ

Good fight this. JJ is barely breathing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,292 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Slow and steady might win this for Joyce.

Seems to have taken Dubois' best shots so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,710 ✭✭✭Joeseph Balls

That commentator has a fierce fetish for Dubois.
    4-3
A lot of Joyce jabs are glancing but doing damage

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭generalgerry

    4-3 Dubois for me.
Very impressed at how JJ is still actually there. He's taken some serious punches.
DDD looks worried, but JJ looks zen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,938 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

4-3 Dubois, worried about his eye though. Joyce's jabs are pretty hard. If he can start to mix in a couple of double jabs he'll win it I think.
