Engagement ring valuation for home insurance?

    Hey all,

    I need to get an engagement ring valued for home insurance reasons. Can anyone recommend a reputable jeweller in the Celbridge/Maynooth/Lucan/Leixlip area?

    Is it normal for a jeweller to hold onto the ring for a couple of days for this? Would prefer not to do this if possible.

    Any suggestions appreciated thanks!

    Not too sure about them holding onto the ring so cant help you there.
    I can however recommend the Diamond studio in celbridge (at supervalu) or the maynooth jewellers near the top of the town ( tesco end).

    If you want it professionally valued with a valuation certificate, they will need to hold onto it for a few hours or a day.

    Expect a fee of €100 or thereabouts for their professional services
