€200 Android Tablet

I was about to get a second hand laptop but having recently switched to an android phone, I am considering an android tablet.

It will only be used for email & browsing plus watching streams so flash is essential. One other requirement is a way of linking it to my tv to view streams on a bigger screen.

Any suggestions?

In fairness this model is a good 10 inch tablet, Android 4.0.3 OS and has bluetooth, WIFI, 3G capable, HDMI (mini), USB, GREAT screen res: 1280 x 800 , its a capacative 10 point touch screen (no resistive screen!). They're available on ebay, amazon and most chinese sites that require you to import them (cheaper) but you will have to pay import tax on them.

I am considering a second hand Asus Transformer as I like the concept & they have good reviews. I guess, like so many, I would be wary of a Chinese tablet especially at €200.

Has anyone tried a 10 inch Archos?

Get a laptop then. Adobe aren't supporting Flash on mobile devices anymore from Android 4.1 onwards.

There was a thread on here a few weeks ago where somebody bought an Android tablet upgraded the software (as you do) and couldn't use RTÉ Player, Flash or Sky Go and wasn't willing to revert the version of Android back to 4.0 so was left with something of little use to him.

Yes I am aware of the potential future problem with Flash. But if I buy second hand then I am unlikely to be running above 4.0. Even then there are plenty of sites offering older versions of Flash.
