I looking for advice in regards to my teeth. My teeth are wearing down and i'm looking to know if its possible to save the ones I have left. I realise I probably need to do something quickly.
I always though that I would eventually end up getting all implants in a foreign country. But I only found the a friend of mine who I thought got implants here had actually got veneers. Which maybe I should have got years ago and maybe there wouldn't be so much wear and tear on my teeth now.
Is it possible I could save my remaining teeth? And do I need to see a dentist or orthodontist?. Would be really grateful for any advice? I realise the treatment is also cheaper up north ( some of my work colleagues travel up for dental work). But I'd prefer to get the work done in dublin if possible.

yes see a dentist for a checkup and they will provide an estimate. Find out what is actually wrong first. Most dentists provide detailed estimates and work can be done over time. Some work may not be possible during Cov19 though.

Are you grinding your teeth? First stop is your general dentist. They can advise you where to go.

Dental implants and veneers are huge money.

Your first port of call is likely to be a general dental surgeon or a prosthodontic specialist ( deal with crowns and bridgework, veneers, dental implants and dentures ).

The salvageability of your teeth/dentition can only assessed after a clinical examination.

The cause/aetiology of the wear is likely to be important.

Stress related grinding/bruxism or dietary related ( acidic erosion ),GORD...

An orthodontic component may be necessary as a part of the overall treatment plan.

No idea re the cost differences between the south and north of the border.

Dental tourism is not without it's risks if you venture further abroad.
