Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So it is still on! Woo. So annoying that the Golden Tate TD that was called a TD by the refs then changed and had a 10 second run off might cost us.

Why do the Lions always find new ways to lose haha.

Yeah, that was a kick in the teeth. It wouldn't have been so bad if the refs had ruled it short in the first place. There was time for a spike and one final play but that 10 second run-off really screwed us:(

Exactly. That will be another rule change as a result of the Lions losing a game.

Who do people want as the new head coach? After all I’ve read I think Patricia would really be able to make something happen. Obviously highly intelligent and adaptable.

Also great to have 2 first tea am all pros.

Yeah, he'd be my choice too. Nothing I've read has sold me on Vrabel at all, so I hope Patricia is the man hired.
Looks like they are only ones being seriously considered.

Yeah, don't really want Vrabel, though I do trust Quinn.

Would also be great if we could somehow get Callahan for the oline.

Putrid stuff again today. Patricia is safe for another season, but Jim Bob is gone for sure come January.

Yeah, awful to watch. Can't understand how they keep bringing in Blount for running plays. He's always seems to get stuffed or lose yards, killing drives.
Stafford has no one to throw to so it was always going to be a struggle, but getting rid of Tate seems like a big mistake now. I suppose there may be some little hope of getting him back in free agency, cause he's doing very little in Philly right now & can't be very happy there having such little impact.

Patricia needs a good season next year, or his & Quinn's positions may start to be questioned.

Are we feeling hopeful heading into Week 2 against the Packers, or has all that preseason hype dropped like a game winning pass to Deandre Swift?

It seems to be my curse as a fan of any team I support that I can't help feeling hopeful. While the collapse was utterly dreadful last week there were still a few things to take hope from. If Kenny Clark is out then I think we can make some headway in the run game.

I did just check our injury report though and it's not pretty. Looks like Okudah will play which I'm looking forward to seeing, but I have no idea who our nickel corner will be and if McRae is in man on anyone decent Rodgers will punish us.

I do expect to lose but wouldn't be totally shocked to see a fluke Lions win or probably more likely be in a position to win it with little time left on the clock but find a completely new way to **** it up, possibly with help from Clete Blakeman.

When Coleman went out injured last week, Roberts went to nickel. I assume he will start there this week. With any luck, McRae will only be used very sparingly.

Not very hopeful of win here either especially with news Golladay is still out, buton one note of optimism, I think the Packers are a little overhyped from week 1. That Vikings secondary was horrendous. We're surely can't be that bad. If we can get the run game humming, you never know.

Roberts is doubtful I believe. He was good enough last week so hopefully he's alright.

He practiced the last 2 days so has a "questionable" designation coming into to Sunday, so its a good sign he may start. If not we could be in serious trouble.

Even with the injuries, they're well capable of beating the Packers, but there just seems to some kind of mental block against actually winning games
