Looking to dabble in the CX world for the winter. Have never done it so not Looking for anything too expensive. I’m 5ft 11 so I’m guessing large but not sure if CX bike sizing runs differently than normal road. Thanks

Have a boardman cx team (silver one). Upgraded to Force 1x and Zipp BSS. Great condition. Never used for CX. Mainly road and Greenway. Size 54. Would be looking for €750 so maybe too much for starting CX.

    Rim or disc brake.

Have a Ridley Crossbow 54, I'm 1.8m(5'11") with rim brakes.

It'll be cheap, 10 speed mix of 105/ultegra.

    Has been a great bike

Can I ask. How old is the groupset. How old is the frame?

This is a starter bike for me. Can I offer 675, half way between your price and my original offer? Subject to viewing on sizes.

If shifting is working and the tyres and pedals added in then very eager to view and conclude sale

    Thanks

Hi Tax, sorry. Absolute best I can do is €725. All working perfect. I’ll include spare brake pads if that helps.

I’m 5’10”. Good size for me. If anything maybe rides slightly big for a 53. Saddle height is 73cm bb to top of saddle. Hope that helps.

Perfect for me so, would you consider €725 with both sets of tyres and spd pedals , don’t need the road pedals.

I have a 58cm Sensa Fermo SL cyclocross bike that I upgraded to 11 speed Shimano 105 5800 after buying it. Raced it for 2 cyclocross seasons and it was great. I’m 6 foot tall so would be good for for you at 5’ 11”. The bike is missing a chain and cassette and the cables would need replacing. I have a spare dropout for it too.
It’s fitted with a pair of hand built mavic reflex rims on Ultegra 6800 hubs and a pair of Continental Sprinter tubulars. You could replace the sprinters with tubulars suited for cyclocross. €520 and can include the SPD pedals and Garmin out front mount.
