Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xbox One Controller Repair

    We've a few Xbox One Controllers (1708) that need fixing.

    Mic/Headphone Jacks, RB, R1&R2, Analog sticks.

    Do you guys just take them apart yourselves or is there somewhere that fixes them. Where do you source the parts. The instructions online look fairly easy.

    Any thoughts?

    I just do them myself, but I'd imagine that any of the mobile phone shops would do the job. I don't know though, as you said, the instructions online are very good, so I've never had to think about it before.

    I just used amazon to source parts, but I'd assume that they'd be fine buying them from any reputable place.

    Just make sure that you get a "Security Torx" screwdriver, the normal Torx screwdriver doesn't work because of a little button thingy within the screw. I think you can break off the button, but I just got a proper one because it was cheap while I was ordering the rest of the parts.

    Thanks for the tip. I've fixed mobile phones and laptops before. This looks fairly simple.

    Some are easy and just something might be loose, i couldn't repair mine so brought it to Gamestop and they repaired it for €30.
