I dont have the time right now to create a specific charter but the forum will be covered similar to the Final Fantasy forum...
    Basically as it goes,

    Advertising
    - Topics/posts that contain this will be both edited and locked. If you wish to buy ad space, contact DeVore.

    Flaming
    - Posts containing personal attacks on another user will be edited/deleted.

    Spamming
    - Topics/posts that are just complete nonsense will be deleted.

    Racism
    - Topics/posts containing such will be edited/deleted accordingly.

    Porn
    - Topics/posts containing such will be deleted on sight.

Same rules as the rest boards im sure you all know them.

No Stupid arguements over which game/character is better etc etc.
No Stupid comments about Playstation is better than Nintendo, Nintendo is ghey etc.,
Anyone who breaks the rules will be warned only once, after that they'll be banned indefinately or till either me or Amp are having a good day and feeling a little forgiving! :p

No Warez Talk! That includes backing up games.

Is disscussion on homebrew acceptable, including but not restricted to mods that can void the warranty of your machine?

Discussion of homebrew apps is acceptable and mods that can be used for homebrew and not just to play 'backups'.

    R4 or backup device update:

See my post above. Discussion of any back-up devices such as an R4 is allowed as long as isn't only for piracy. An R4 will allow you to play homebrew, play music, watch videos etc. while some Wii modchips allow you to play import games.

Boasting about playing copied games, posting about where to get these games and trying to sell copied games (trying to sell anything on the forum is a no-no) will get you a deserved banning.

So if it for piracy and something else, then it is ok? ;)

Doesn't matter as long as you don't start talking about how it's used for to play pirate games and how to play pirate games with the device.

There is a new dispute resolution procedure in place. If you feel you that have been banned unfairly, please follow the complaints procedure as outlined in this forum.

As it appears to need to be said
New rule is the use of the forum to set up groups that would go against the terms and conditions of Nintendo Online.
If someone feels the need to find a friendly group to do whatever it is that they think is good for them, that's fine.
You simply can't use the services of Boards.ie to do it.
And, if anyone is receiving unsolicited PMs on the matter, please report to the Mods and we will take care of the user.
