    Hey all,
I've been lurking this forum for some time now as I get ready to fly the nest at last.
I've looked online at several places that are decent for commuting, amenities, within budget etc. I plan to start contacting the landlords soon.

as this is my first time renting. What should I be asking? most include basic utilities bills but what exactly and how much?

I'm 20years old and working full time (21 by moving time). would this put people off me renting their place?

from reading threads here I know to check things like windows, funny smells etc.

can I set up standing orders to pay rent?

    All advise is greatly appreciated

Are you looking a renting a place on your own or a room in a house share?

ill rent a room or studio.. I think that's what its called? ideally I'd want a 1 bed apartment somewhere around southside/west co Dublin as I work in Dublin 12.

found a nice place around 400 I'm interested in but not completely sure what to ask.

I have a head on me for building issues like paint etc but I don't want to settle into absolute a shack as I work long hours and like my comfort! (sleep)
