Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just after reading an article on agriland about how not enough young people looking for jobs in contracting. I did a quick Google for farm jobs and barely anything turns up so there's the first hurdle.

We entertained part of the Chinese delegation here yesterday for an hour, it was very good, very friendly crowd...apparently one of them was the Larry Goodman of China, but his operation was ten times the size of Larry's.
Traceablty and accountability is very important to them. It would be great to get into these markets properly

Was it C-Gold by any chance? I see they did a promotion recently with a new type of milk where random estates and houses got a free litre of milk left at the door.

Oh there's nothing worse than man flu, sure it killed more soldiers in world war 1 than bullets did. You're up early enough anyway, so you must be getting over it.

Just jacked a first calver from the easy calving saler bull bhu. He is 3.6% at 97% reliability. Well he was anything but easy calving and she brought only a few days. It took three of us just to lift him to try to swing him. got beastings into him but am not sure he will survive. He's fairly panned out.

Top two didn't recover from spawning. Too long and slack looking. Bottom three look borderline . Are those wall tiles 4"?

And there's one looks like he was part of a fin clip survey.

I've seen plenty of big calves panned out come alive with a feed of beasting and a warm bed. Hopefully your lad will get his second wind!

Sounds like a hard calving. It takes a lot out of the calf and usually pans them out. I'm sure he will perk up. Always got great satisfaction jacking out a live one!

Whether it's the Deel , Lunestown, or Boyne there's a state size limit of 9" on Trout.
In my opinion killing small hungry Trout in March is neither right nor fair. In fact I think it's a disgrace, and I would'nt be bragging about it either.

Stick the pictures up on the Angling forum and see what them boys think.

It was catching everything I could from the Canals and putting them back. When I got good at that I moved onto the Boyne.
Even as a young lad I knew it was wrong to kill small hungry Trout.

The real pity is killing hungry juvenile Trout. Take a bow. Well done.

I've said my bit. The last word is yours.
