Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Repair. ( kit?)

    I have two pairs of reading glasses.

    For some reason , both the left part that sits on my ear has become detached on both. I have misplaced both parts.

    Today I tried a few different opticians, and other places to try and get that part , and get it soldered on.

    Nothing doing. They were quite expensive and it seems a shame to bin.

    Is there anywhere you could get a " kit" or something just to stick on a " spurious " part for the occasional time I use them for reading ?

    I'm not 100% sure about what part of the glasses you mean but if an opticians have said it has to be soldered there is likely no kit that can fix it. A picture might help me to determine fully.

    If it's the left side of both pairs imthats damaged, it's likely that you are taking your glasses off with your right hand and putting strain on the left side
