Has anyone sold their property to Dublin City Council recently and if so how long did it take?

We have been sale agreed since end July, our buyer has pulled out. We have gone sale agreed on a house but I am afraid now we will loose this house.
There wasn't much interest in ours when it was on the market possibly as it is a busy road and some houses are quite run down. But still it's in a good location so we did think it would get more interest.

Any info on dealing with DCC welcome
