Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do daft.ie and myhome.ie ignore recent city boundary extensions?

    In May 2019 the Cork City boundary was extended for the first time in 50 years taking in suburbs such as Ballincollig, Blarney, Clogheen, Frankfield, Glanmire, Leghanamore, Rochestown and parts of Togher and Douglas that were not previously included.

    However both property website's 'Areas' search engine interface doesn't seem to have been updated and still lists many of these areas under Cork County.

    Has this happened in other area where city boundaries were extended? I think Limerick had one a few years back.

    Poor effort from these sites

    myhome.ie have updated their search areas list to include the ‘new’ Cork city areas.
    Daft.ie have made changes too but still think Ballincollig is in Co Cork.

    Is anyone reading from Daft Towers? Check the map!
