Rads not heating after repressurising boiler

    Hi, I had heating off for the summer. Went to turn on with the timer the other evening and found a low pressure warning. I tried to repressurise using the valves underneath boiler (Ariston e-system one installed new last December) but nothing happened. I found that I needed to repressurise via a valve in hot press with flat head screw driver. Did this, set at 1.5 bar and error gone. Fired up the boiler and it is starting and then the burner goes out. It hums away but the rads not heating.
    Thinking maybe I didn't reset valves underneath correctly or something. Should have taken a pic!
    What also may be relevant is that I turned immersion on for a few hours one day during summer and system started to boil... had to run scalding hot water away - this seems like some kind of thermostat problem? Not sure if both things are related though. Any ideas? Thanks.
