Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Contact Details for Riding Schools / Livery Yards

There seems to be quite a few people looking for the details for riding schools and the answers seem scattered throughout the forum.

If anyone has any basic info such as contact details, classes offered etc you can post them here.

However please refrain from commenting upon the school - I will remove any comments that do no relate to contact info.

Edit: You can also now list Livery Yards

Please read through the thread before posting as somebody may well have asked the same question about a yard in your area

its kinda hard to have an equestrian centre in the middle of dublin city centre :p

You could try Kilronan out in swords, the 39 bus drops you right outside.
Then there is Carrickmines on the southside, the 63 will drop you outside that too.

if you drive you can try Kellystown equestrian centre or the paddocks, both near Sandyford. I think there is a bus that goes to the paddocs too, might be the 44 or one of its random variations but not too sure. There is also Killegar which the 44 drives close to but then there is a rather steep hill to get up if you're walking, would probably be a good tough 15 mins from the bus stop.

I'm sure there are more, maybe try the goldenpages?

kamili, yeah I mean't near Dublin in the surrounding area, I wasn't expecting to be jumping buses on horses!:)
All that info was a great help, sorry if I wasn't clear on the location was in a hurry wrote the message fast.
I will try the golden pages too. The directions were very helpful too, thank you for taking the time to reply.

Hi and thanks for all that info. I am new to this, so i am not sure if i am writing this question in the right section! Anyway i am desparate! Does any one know of a grass livery service in the Wicklow area. I have a 7 year old,13.2 h connemara gelding which i would like to have minded as close to Bray as possible. Or even if someone knew a nice family with stables and i would be happy to share him. I am flexible! If any one can help me i would be so grateful. Many thanks Gabby:)

Pelletstown Riding Centre - Located out near Batterstown Village. (Meath)

26-fence cross-country course, 40x25m indoor arena, 40x30m all-weather outdoor arena. The livery prices are changeable depending on factors.

I ride there once a week and everyone is really helpful, plus the cross-country course is great with jumps for beginners to advanced.
