Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Route of the N52 Tullamore Bypass??

    Hey guys, I can't find a map of this on the NRA website. Has there been any posted here on boards before?

    By the looks of it they wanted to hook up with the N80 going south and got stuck with a lake and a bog.

    It had to pick up the N80 also, and bypass Mucklagh. This looks like the most direct route that gives both the N52 and N80 a bypass of Tullamore and the N52 a bypass of Mucklagh.

    That is also quite an old map and the urban area marked on it is no where near the actual size of the town. The road practically touches the edge of the buildings along most of the route from before the N80 Portlaoise road to the Link with the western relief road and is also close along the other sections. One of the original proposals was to bypass Mucklagh on the South / East side as opposed to the chosen route. The online upgrade section in front of the castle between Mucklagh and town was the compromoise which resulted in a more indirect bypass of mucklagh.
