Alternative to stone on house

Hi all. Trying to build at minute. We have had our hearts set on stone for exterior off house but isn’t going to happen as it’s going to be to expensive. Anyone have any alternatives to stone or more cost effective versions? Thanks in advance

Plaster, and put your money into the interior and insulation and finishes and comfort for yourself rather that what the house looks like from the outside for the neighbours and passing strangers.
