Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tacho question re shunting

    Hi all,

I'm UK based but I'm assuming rules are the same, EU wide.

I load vehicles most days. That means I drive them around our building to load from both sides. I don't insert my card when doing this. I do when leaving our business park of course.

So my question is, is this OK to do? It's not private property as it's a business park.

Just want to make sure I've been doing things right as we have a new transport company coming in following a DVSA audit.

    Thanks in advance.

When you do put in your tacho card you should record the other work from the start of your shift. Also make sure whatever truck you put your card in that it is on Break and not flashing saying Driving without card

I could be wrong but isn't there supposed to be a card for shunting in this instance. Again could be wrong but I'm sure the young one doing the tacho cpc was on about it.
