Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just hope Met eireann have got this one right

    Egg on their faces a few weeks ago. They need a win this time.

    How did they have eggs on their faces? People died, thousands had no power for days, roads blocked all over the place with falling trees. Some of the winds were stronger than Ophelia and Darwin.

    That’s my point! They got hauled over the coals for not publicising it enough. Remember the scenes at the ploughing match? And as you say more importantly ppl actually died

    I’ve reached level 2 on trampoline disassembly... it was looking dodgy there for a minute.

    You need to drive down to Salthill prom, look out at the sea for the night and laugh at the fools who took this warning seriously.

    Dublin Fire Brigade
    @DubFireBrigade

    Secure your wheelie bins tonight, they get scared in the wind and wander off. If it is your bin day tomorrow please leave it until the morning before you let your bin out. They can cause mayhem on the streets and road. #StormCallum

    People ignore warnings that aren't red as employers etc still expect you to be at work. So everyone operates as normal.

    It's kind of like a domino effect. If important things like schools and transport stop, everything else follows

    Definitely not used to the southerly winds here in macroom it's getting wild & rain coming down hard now. Hard to believe it's not peaking for another 4/5hrs. Wind whistling now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

    I'm not taking this at all seriously, maybe I should but it just feels like it'll be nothing more than a standard issue windy night with rain.

    You make it sound so cosy! I'm really just looking forward to another night in bed listening to some wind and rain. Midlands.

    Still calm here in co kk. As expected. No rain yet either. Although the big tree at the end of the garden is starting to rustle slightly. The anticipation! I'm loving the updates.

    I can’t tell the difference between the two forums.got a bollocking for offering the real weather heads a trampoline for sale.was throwing in a half bag of borrowed beach sand to weigh her down and all to sweeten the deal.
    Two titles are the same.
