Very low cloud and raining. Temp at 12.1 degree and falling slowly, winds light and from the south.
Pressure at 1004 and falling slowly. Humidity at 88%

On the bright side UV levels won't be an issue today!

a great cycling morning in Dublin , calm, mild temp, no wind to speak of , there was a bit of a "red sky in the morning" about it but met.ie has it dry for the rest of the day

What was the issue with UV levels yesterday? The reason I ask is that I was obtaining much higher than expected current into my little solar grid yesterday afternoon. At this time of year I would expect no more than about 8 amps near high noon but I was getting over 10 amps a full hour after high noon, even though there was a bit of haze present.

Quite probably no connection whatsoever to your statement though!

Nothing obvious recorded in fairness, levels were similar to today and unremarkable... Has a tree nearby lost a few early leaves, letting a bit extra through to your panels?

Mostly clear and sunny here now. I was up just north of here a short while ago and there was a heavy shower but it doesn't seem to have hit here as the ground was completely dry when I came back. There has been 0.8mm recorded here today, mostly in the early hours. It's currently 19.3C. The high, recorded a couple of hours ago, was 21.4C.
