    Hi,
Myself and two other students will be working for 12 months (internship) as part of our third year in college starting the first of June and we're just wondering whether there will be many 3-bed houses/apartments popping up in the next few weeks around city centre. We imagined there would be a good amount what with students going home for the summer but there doesn't appear to be that much coming up on Daft so far.

Just wondering so we'll know if it will be grand waiting another week or two or if we'll have to start looking further out, or comprising.

    Thanks

Some will likely come up, but may not appear for a few weeks as landlords get the property cleaned and prepared for rental again.

The practice of leaving for the summer before coming back is also somewhat dying out - students are still going home of course, but continuing to pay rent on their property (or subletting it) for the summer so they don't have to fight for a new property come September.

Stuff in the student price range in the city centre is next to impossible to get your hands on. If you can handle a commute you might find yourself with more and better options if you look at 3-bed apartments 5-10km outside of the city.

Thanks for the reply. Our internships are paid, so we're fit to pay around €450-500 each a month, whether that is enough or not with increasing prices. We're also looking around the Phibsborough and lower Drumcondra so hopefully this will help our search. We'd like to try and avoid a lengthy commute if possible.
