Oil Leak - Reillo burner (blower)

    So walked by the Oil house other day noticed there was a gradual seepage coming under the door. Oil seems to have been dripping minimally but for a while. never in there so hadnt noticed.

    Opened it up and the seal was perished on the pump adjustment screw. So replaced it with a new one. Checked and seems to be dry past few days all good.

    But noticed a second additional drop which seems to be coming from the blower fan casing bottom side. The fan has a flap on the side when swung up its moist with oil. Should this be happening? i presume not, what are things to check out ?

    presume this means there is too much fuel being put into the burner blower? pressure adjuster needs to be looked at and pressure tested or is that a wrong assumption

    a few things of concern

    pressure adjuster screw seal they do leak but you now don't know what pressure you have set burner to

    the damper on the side also leak they can be replaced or the rubber seal within can also be replaced

    they are both small leaks but can expel quite a bit of kero

    might be best to get somebody in the know to sort it properly for you

    Yes knew about the pressure reg. Unfortunately it must be out of spec now.

    Difficult time to have someone out though obviously.

    the pressure wont be the cause of the leak at damper
