This 10-part HBO television miniseries focuses on Easy Company, a group of American soldiers in World War II, tracking their experiences from the beginning of boot camp to the end of the war. Anchored by actors Damian Lewis and Ron Livingston, the series gives detailed attention to their experiences as a group, as well as the way that each of them develops individually. Based on historian Stephen E. Ambrose's book of real-life accounts, BAND OF BROTHERS was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who worked together on SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. Hanks also directed one episode, featuring his son, Colin Hanks.

do people see another series like this coming out in the future? obsessed with this, havent watched pacific yet as i dont think it'l be anywhere near as good spec with the reviews

band of brothers 9 out of 10
pacific 5 out of 10 for me......not a patch on b.o.b.

BOB is Brillant, The Series and the book. I wonder is the quality much better on Blu-Ray compared to DVD?

Band of Brothers is one of the best quality Blu-Rays I've seen. Some amazing shots in it.

Heard of this but never seen a single one! Recently got a PS3 so assume worth it? Do ASDA deliver to ROI though? Sounds like no from website? Also it's £ 17.99 before the 99p postage - how is that = € 19.99?

This deal is absolutely worth it, I enjoyed every single episode of it and that was in standard format.

If you can make the order up to 25£ on amazon it's free shipping to ROI, and band of brothers is actually cheaper there also. + I think asda do ship to ROI.

Update: Don't wanna spend even more money shopping on Amazon so had a look around. Found it on sendit.com for € 20.49 delivered, but their stupid registration screen now won't recognise my credit card :mad:
