Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it busy in the shops this Christmas?

I live on a road that approaches Blanchardstown Shopping centre and I've noticed that there isn't as much traffic as there has been for the last four years.
The shopping centre is quieter than I've seen it in previous years too.
I know there is a new traffic management policy in place but this can't explain how quiet the shopping centre is.

I'm thinking there is less money going around this Christmas especially in Blanch where most of the houses are only a few years old with massive mortgages on them. Am I imagining it or have other people seen that the shopping centres are quieter than in recent years.

Maybe the novelty of conspicuous consumption has worn off.

Of course 230 jobs gone in Creative Labs and another 1000 hanging in the balance in Xerox might not be helping.

So, does anyone else think it's quieter this Christmas?

If you are asking people for their personal opinions, then this might be better suited to After Hours. If you want me to move it, just send me a PM.
