Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Extreme survival, eating faeces?

    Bear Grylls often drinks his urine but we never see him eating his faeces. Obviously he has a stash of food in his rug sack so he never has to. He extracted water from elephant dung once though.
    Can one eat their own faeces for survival and interested to hear stories of people who had for survival means as a lot eat faeces for other interests.

    Human feces should be considered highly toxic. There's some pretty dangerous bacteria living in your gut that our body has developed a balance with, when you die it's that bacteria that begins the decomposition process, once you stop feeding it, it starts eating you.

    About 30% of your poop is actually bacteria. So all your eating is what your body couldn't process and bacteria. You shouldn't touch or be near it, nevermind eat it.

    LOL!!! No f@#$ing way, man! If you really, really had to eat crap to survive then feaces from herbivores would be a much safer option. Better still, hunt said herbivores and have yourself a fine meat dinner!

    Your crap is pushed out of your arse for a reason.

    It's the disgusting end product of your metabolic processes and your body needs to get rid of it before it poisons you.

    Once it hits the air it's even more poisonous and starts to heave with bacteria..If it's human **** it's full of human disease . Chances are itd make you so sick you'd die .
