Dungarvan town council offices employee car park

    Charger supplied by epower

Details on how to activate charger don't work as charger is not visible on in-app map

Seems to be switched off at weekends rather annoyingly when carpark is open to public

An example of public money being spent on a charger that the public can't use

    Belfast. Pay to use. 41p/kWh

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,590 ✭✭✭zg3409

Two the same day. Wicklow town is well covered with a few AC chargers and one 50kW easygo at lidl and one 50kW esb at Tesco . This charger was on site since February presumably waiting on esb networks to upgrade the supply. That's a 6+month wait!

Sorta qualifies as a new location I suppose.

Rc11 in Derry has been operating at half power for years. Meanwhile they've been replacing nearly every other charger in NI.

Ecars finally committed to changing the Derry Rapid, and actually claim that they'll be installing a 100kW unit.

I don't normally list hotels on this thread, but lots and lots seem to be getting pay to use chargers. This is a good example of 4 chargers, 4 well marked spaces and presumably well maintained due to pay to use and app monitoring of status. Lots of hotels getting them. I have listed as many as possible on plugshare app. If planning a holiday try to stay in a hotel with a charger. It makes life easier.

New EasyGo units in Dublin City Council Leisure Centre in Finglas.

Drove by so no exact idea of how many or what speed units. At least 2, possibly 4.

@Gumbo Thanks for the heads up. These look really well designed and should relieve some of the pressure on the Circle K at Glasnevin cemetery.

Went by this morning and took some photos. Well laid out but will be inevitably ICED in morning/evenings by mothers visiting creche/daycare beside chargers.

Fast charger is separate from the slow AC one and there are 4 parking bays. Fast charger claims 75kWh per socket and has 1 each of CCS and chademo. AC has 2 sockets. Part of the EasyGo charging network.

I resized these for Boards. If someone from Plugshare wants full size, just PM me.

New eCars charging hub at Kelliher's Inver / Mace in Tralee. Dual 150kW charger + single 50kW charger. 3 CCS + 3 Chadmo plugs so max 3 cars can simultaneously on DC. It's showing on eCars app. Not sure if the AC plug is active.

    Tralee photo above.

Below Tesla Sandyford supercharger 4 stalls. 350kW or so working from today. Not open to non Tesla's (photo from another boards.ie thread). Right next to Tesla service centre and shops across the road.

Wexford town. At an post distribution centre but seems to be available to public. Epower app needed to activate and pay. Single unit, with CCS and ChaDeMo. Unsure if both can be used at same time. App says 50kW. Live and online. Same company supplied a few at Cork airport and taxi only Dublin airport.

Lidl Castlereagh Road Belfast. 1 X 50kW chademo and CCS. Store opened a week ago and charger seems live. Pay to use and touch to pay by credit card an option. Use easygo app to activate and pay.

Lidl mount Agnus Road Cork. Seems to be free for now, only free Lidl in all of Ireland now, but that might change. AC

Aldi Clonakilty. Possibly 2 X AC disabled only, 1 X non disabled. Like most Aldi sites probably just a case of plugging in, no need to activate and free charging. There are instructions on most Aldi chargers how to activate and pay but they can be ignored for now.

Enniskillen new CCS charger at Belmore Court Motel. Limited to 24kW but a great option in the Enniskillen area as there is only one CCS ESB charger that's free to use and tends to be very busy. Pay to use and 4 X AC chargers for overnight visitors.

They have been charging EVs here for more than 12 years, it's great to see them try, they should be supported.

One of the two 50kw CCS stations at the applegreen Birdhill (J27 on the M7) is out of order.

Looks like someone reversed into it. ITs not obvious in the picture but the charging station is at an angle. The other charge point works fine.

I don't know how to show them on here but 6 new 22kw AC chargers are now working at the Primary care centre Quarrypark Enniscorthy, it's right beside Donohoes BMW/ Skoda garage you actually use the same entrance and just drive around the garage. They're easygo chargers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,590 ✭✭✭zg3409

Maghera Northern Ireland Crawford's town express new CCS and ChaDeMo seems to be online a while now. Easygo

From Facebook We have received more good news today, this time from TriEX EV who have installed new AC & DC chargers at Ballymoney, along the popular route towards the North Coast.

50kW DC Charger (CCS and CHAdeMO)

    Dual 22kW AC Charger

Located at Basil Knipe Electrical, Ballymoney, conveniently off the Frosses Road.

Planned to be in operation from this Friday, 21st October.

Lidl mallow, new store new 50kW easygo charger now live.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,590 ✭✭✭zg3409

Belfast. Due to go live in a few weeks. Weev network. 2 X 50kW DC

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,590 ✭✭✭zg3409

SuperValu Sundrive Road Crumlin, Dublin. Not yet live nor on esb app yet. Again esb can only count to 3 parking spaces when 4 cars could charge. Maybe park in nearby spots for AC. At least a car with a trailer might be able to charge without unhitching.

Going live today. Was just speaking to the ESB lads a few minutes ago. --mfceiling 2/11

I don't have a pic yet, and it's a replacement rather than a new location so hope that's allowed.

RC11 in Derry has finally been replaced after 3h years of half power. New 50kW unit went in today and is working.

Downside is that it has one of those AC sockets on the side that will crippled the the DC back to half power anyway lol.

Lisburn northern Ireland. New AC max 7kW charger at Tesco where up to 4 cars can charge. Fees were introduced only recently in Mainland UK, but also in Northern Ireland at Tesco stores. Podpoint branded and need podpoint app to activate and pay. A good few have been installed as Tesco's in NI in recent weeks, all pay to use. I put them all on plugshare app, some not live yet. 28p/kWh. No fees yet in NI on esb ecars sites as a result these chargers are often available.
