    How should I adjust my diet if I become vegatarian?

    What is high in protein etc...

    I mainly eat bread and pasta and stuff like that. If you're going to be one of "those" vegetarians that eat fish, then I'd recommend that too.

    Fruit & vegetables are a given of course.

    Are bread and pasta not just carbs...

    I'm talkin protein. I know soya products are good. What else is there...?

    Fish, nuts and egg whites are the highest in protein I believe.


    Besides that I have no idea....... protein shakes perhaps? :)

    there is a hell of a lot of foods with protein in it that dont have the heart side affects like meat does....the protein thing shoul be stickied...

    There are a lot of high-protein, vegetarian-friendly foods.

    Green, leafy vegetables, like spinach and seaweed; nuts; legumes such as beans, peas, and lentils, as rsynnott mentioned; tofu and soy products; sunflower seeds and grains and cereals like wheat and rice.
    Dairy products and eggs contain protein too.
