Don't forget to upload your raw DNA to gedmatch.com to match with people who took the test with other companies.
There is also an Irish DNA Registry group on Facebook as well as multiple 'county' DNA groups.

I have just received results from 23&me but I cannot see where to proceed to create a GEDCOM to enable information to be exported to Gedmatch site.

I might have to rename this thread as I seem to be the only regular poster!

My beginner's Irish genealogy course is now enrolling to start mid-September in Malahide.
All the basics covered plus DNA testing.

There's a list on www.cigo.ie but it's a few years old. UCC runs some.

ETA: that list for Dublin is quite out of date now. At least 3 of the places don't seem to run it anymore.

The IGRS is running a DNA workshop day on 9th November. It's for members only but if you want to available of a 30 mins consultation, then it's easy to join.
