Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cyclone Winston.

NASA has released some high resolution images of Cyclone Winston that hit the Fijian Island chain. The close up is the eye near the island of Koru. Its only being reached now by rescue agencies. Damage is expected to be severe as the small islands wouldn't weaken the cyclone's strength very much as it passed near or over…

Damage is expected to be severe as the small islands wouldn't weaken the cyclone's strength very much as it passed near or over them. Wind gusts were apparently over 200 mph at times.

EDIT: looking at alot of the images, many villages were built down by the sea itself. Reports of 40 foot waves in areas. Also noticeable are the hillsides behind the villages. Loads of trees etc seem to have been stripped bare.
