Solstice celebration, open to all at 12 noon 20th June, hosted by Sólás Nemed druid grove. This will take place bang on noon, so make sure you arrive in time. After the ceremony we will stay to eat lunch if the weather is reasonably good.

Directions: On the main Baltinglass Road from Dublin (N81) , just near the Holywood turning.
This place is not visible from the road, it is in a field set back a bit. There is a small brown sign post but it is easy to miss. If you are at the Holywood crossroads petrol station on the N81 you are half a mile north of the site. Proceed south slowly and you will see the sign on your left. Park by the side of the road, there is no parking.

    Celebration or ritual?

    What is to take place?

    Athgreany's the place no?

It does say celebration doesn't it? Why would someone ask was it a ritual? Enjoy...

Anyway, the interesting thing here is the name actually means ford of the sun. Apt for a solstic celebration I would have thought.

Can anyone comment on whether the piper stones align?

    Hi guys

    according to druidschool

The Sun enters the Star sign of Cancer at 5:47 GMT on the 21st of June 2009. Sunrise on Tara is at 4:57 and we will gather at 4am to watch this Sunrise on Rath Grainne. We will bless water at 8pm at the Well of the Dark Eye and have a noon Sun Ceremony at the Mound of the Hostages. Our dance and drum circle will be at 8pm on the Rath of the Synods and we finish with a Sun set gathering by the Fairy tree. All are welcome to these free ceremonies - bring a drum and an open heart.

    I dont understand, is 8pm the 20th?
and noon is 20th or 21th?

Is there people having a places in cars going out from Dublin?

    Roby
