Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hue led strip lightning deal. I just got the 3m led strip, that's a 2m with 1m extension for £44.99 normally retails at 73.52

Philips Hue Lightstrip 3m Bundle [Base Kit + Extension] White and Colour Ambiance Smart LED Kit (Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XC2MPSG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_i1Z9Db1TY3JJ0

Got this deal during Black Friday, but only got a chance to setup the light strips this weekend above my kitchen cabinets. Really good but of kit and transforms the room.

Can this be controlled direct from the Google Home app or do I need another bit of Philips related kit o control it?

AFAIK all Philips smart lighting products need the bridge.

Tempted by this offer - but I'll need the bridge too.

I have some of their bulbs and no bridge. Alexa controls it all no problem. But for this led strip you need a bridge for sure.

Philips have recently produced some of their bulbs without the need for a hub to operate. This was a measure to be able to sell the bulbs at a lower price point. I picked up far too many of these bulbs over the Black Friday week when they were paired with Echo Dots. Almost felt like I was getting them for free.

    * you will require a hub if you wish to create any kind of home automation

The wifi bulbs that are Alexa compatiable without needing anything else - are these voice controlled, or app controlled?

OP, Mrs Crinklewood is dissatisfied with your actions today.

Ya thanks OP. Now I need to see where I’m going to put them. Behind the TV or up above the kitchen units
