Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bathroom regulations at work

    Hi,

Looking for some advice for the following. At work, we currently have approximately 150 staff with segregated toilets 4 in total, 2 each for men and women. Management are planning to remove the 2 mens and turn the female bathroom in 4 unisex cubicles.

Are there any regulations or guidelines available in Ireland regarding the provision for unisex toilets and more importantly the requirement in number of sanitary facilities to meet workplace demand.

    Thanks

Looks like you should have more.
Look up toilet provision in offices and the HSA have some guidance

Scale of Provisions at the time of Construction from Technical Guidance Document Part G and BS6465.
But that may be trumped now by the Health and Safety and Welfare at work Act or something similar.

Not sure. Sounds like you should have more bathrooms alright, whether or not they are unisex I don't think matters much (we all have unisex toilets at home if you like)

What has this got to do with engineering?

MOD: Report the thread and let the mods decided

There is a technical question been asked but this maybe more appropriate in the Work Problems section. I can move if required.
