Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Small construction job

We’re finding it very difficult to find someone to look after a few minor construction projects. Probably just a fortnights work on a porch and garage. Can anyone recommend someone reliable who will take on that kind of work in county Roscommon please? Thank you.

Maybe outline what you need done.Is it carpenter/electrician/block layer etc ?

A little bit of work for each trade, maybe a plumber too.
Elderly relatives want to add wheelchair accessible porches at front and back doors of house, a car port, additional lighting outside, move garage door, make a change to foot paths and add some accessories to bathroom.
Make their home accessible on their own terms.

Still looking for someone who will take on a relatively small job and arrange plumbing, electrician, carpenter, tiler and decorator. Indoor and outdoor (driveway) work.
We’ve had a couple of people lined up who have let us down.
It’s all very frustrating.
