Has anyone been to Legoland?

I'm thinking of booking it for next Summer. Has anyone been and could they recommend someone to book with? One that does transfers preferably.

We were members in the one in Dubai .... water park and all, the kids loved it, but like any theme park when you go a lot..... the same noise coming out of the rides grinds on your ears

Been to Windsor, brilliant day out. I probably enjoyed it more than the wee fella lol. We also did the Harry Potter studio tour in Watford - another brilliant day out. I booked the Legoland tickets for June whilst the English schools weren't off so the max queue time for rides were approx. 10 mins.

If it's the one in Windsor you'll have a great time.
Make sure you stay in the Lego hotel though, makes the whole experience.
A trip to Windsor Castle would be worth it as well.

even if you dont stay on site, stay close
traffic is a nightmare, we were in london, took 2 hours to get there

Probably best to book direct if you're planning on staying in the onsite hotels and then book flights into Heathrow. There's a bus that runs out to Windsor or you could hire a car.

We stayed in the centre of London and took the train out, did the same for Harry Potter and also did all the sights in the city too.

We went a couple of years back. We went midweek and the queue was still long for a few rides - up to 2 hours. I know the cost of the skip-queue tickets is really high but if I was going again I’d definitely get it. Having said all that, we all loved it. Kids had a great time. If staying in the Lego hotel, book time slots in the pool ahead of your arrival. We were disappointed a couple of days. And the food in the restaurants is not good. It’s fine, but the same stuff lunch and dinner - head out in the evening if you can.

We went a few years ago on Halloween and watched the fireworks display that evening. It was fantastic. Most of the park is focussed on different rides that you need to queue for. Make sure you include a queue buster gadget (can't remember exactly what it's called) when you are booking: this allows you to skip the queue for most activities. You get much better value from your day by doing this. We booked directly with Legoland and hired a car for a weekend break.

Did Legoland a few years ago and stayed in Windsor town opposite castle.
Flew into Heathrow which is very close and taxi transfer to hotel.
Booked hotel and tickets package directly with Legoland.
Windsor is beautiful.

Has anyone been to Legoland?
