Been onto them myself and had engineer out

Its a network issue and will sort itself out being told

What speed are you getting compared to your package?

Im on up to 500 and barely get 170

Just checked and hardwired pc getting the same speed as my phone

Actually the opposite. We had an engineer out just before Christmas and he put in new wires and a new box on the wall.

I don't go by speed cos I know we will never get the advertised speed but we have a house full of electronics all connected to the internet and most of them on the go at the same time due to kids and we never have problems with connection or speeds.

I has a engineer out and changed box wire etc

Then had Virgin accuse me of over downloading etc and hinting they slowed me down

Eventually have a engineer out to replace three year router thursday (should have really done it 1st first and then 2nd visit i told him and he refused)

170 is still excellent - here's my PC (hardwired - not wifi)

made from www.speedtest.net - ran then 'share' and took the image option.

I had UPC/Virgin for years, was happy with their speeds for BB. Then switched to Sky for a year as I wanted both TV/BB from one supplier...Sky BB was terrible...so reverted back to Virgin in Dec and have noticed their speeds dropping remarkably...had to reset router a few times...

Well yeah it's good speed, but not when paying for 500 and use to get near it

Don't talk to me a about speed tests, seen about 100 of them, then listening to tech support saying can't see the pictures

Engineer out, net router, same result

Onto them tomorrow, no point paying for up to 500 package when there is 250 package

I moved to Vodafone and haven't looked back but I wouldn't be all that heavy a user as my housemate doesn't do digital. 100mb is pinging 80-92 which is in and around what I was getting from Virgin while paying for 240mb

Normally no problem- but yesterday and today very slow in d15 here.
Speedtest is showing 70mb download still - which sounds a lot but actual experience webpages are slow to load and many failing to load at all.

Yes, noticing this with Virgin in Ongar too. Now TV and Netflix etc buffering first the first time ever these last couple of weeks. Very annoying.

    Cheers.
Mine has no lights showing. So not sure if its a technical issue with the line or the modem has packed it in :p

Just over 24hrs since vm engineer was out and replace the coaxial wall box (as he had to try something, but I know everything is perfect my side) my wifi is non existent again, but yet my android box is flying. All wifi devices are not working.

    It's the vm router

A lot of people just put the VM hub into bridge mode and use their router.

I had a lot of disconnects with the VM hub wifi. So thats what I did. It still drops but now as much.

I think VM reset the connection regularly.

How do I do that as I have a good asus router.
