Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clonshaugh Sewage Plant

    I've seen a few articles on this and they've mentioned that a few storage tanks will be located in Blanchardstown. Anyone know where exactly?

    They will be in the area of the NAC - around where the cross country track is at the back of the hospice.

    Done deal lads.

    Unless An BP are found to have erred in law then a judicial review has zero impact on the approval of the plant under the correct planning laws.

    Either we put in big facilities of different types, everywhere, to permit the increase in population and to try to address years of under-investment, or we condemn our kids to all live in in the Bog or abroad. It really is that simple.

    The problem here is that the Ringsend sewage plant is one of the top water polluters in Europe - because it is already overloaded. The GDD would help with this, but not if it is delayed by complaints. The less untreated sewage dumped, the better (obviously).

    Judicial review is set for 12th May 2020 . Sanrina Kemper Joyce and Sollution not Pollution https://www.facebook.com/opt4eco/ are takingt his case on 32 points of law that it is believed APB have made errors on.

    The reason it is overloaded is because rainwater run off is getting into the foul sewers and being treated unnecessarily . A report done years ago reported that there was 5 times the volume that should be in the system from Blanchardstown area and 8 times from the Lucan area .

    IW need to fix and seperate all the illegal connections the sewers . When the Nereda technology upgrade is complete Ringsend wil be able to cope with 2.64mill people equivalent .

    Current Population of Grater Dublin Areas is 1.9million expected to go to 2.2million by 2030 . If sewers were fixed we wouldnt need a monster plant . Just small localised plants at pressure points
