Make your vote count!

No matter what way you are voting in either of the two referendums taking place on Friday. Ensure your vote counts by sticking to a few simple rules.

• No badges, no T Shirts, NOTHING that says the words YES or NO.
• Bring along valid photo ID.
• If you have not received a voting card, but believe you are registered, bring along photo ID and proof of address. You may still be able to vote. You can check the register but it may not show recent additions so go to the polling station to be sure.
• Put an X inside your chosen box. Not a tick, or a check, or any other symbol.
• Do not write anything else on the ballot paper. No smiley faces, nothing else except the X within the correct box. Any other marks will spoil your vote.
• Do NOT take photos. No selfies, no pictures of ballot papers, NO PICTURES!!!
• Fold your ballot paper in half and place in the ballot box. Leave the polling station.

Remember to be courteous and polite to all staff and voters on the day, whatever way they're voting.

Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm. 15 hours to get your vote in! Both Hailo and Uber taxi apps are offering free trips to the polling stations if pre booked. See here for uber, and here for hailo.
