    Seemed like a fantastic idea.

    The fact that it was going through not one but two protected areas a SPA and SAC protected under Natura 2000 act meant it was going to have trouble.

    Its a shame to see this refused but as you say it was always going to difficult to get the go ahead. Its hard to see how Wexford CoCo will be able to get around this.

    The Council should drain the slobs and put an interpretative centre up about what was bulldozed for the Greenway.
