Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recently picked up a Helios 44-2 as recommended by a friend. Using it on my XT20 and I am finding it quite a fun lens to use. Fairly soft but can give nice dreamy images. I'm sure others hear are more familiar with it than I.

    Took this at Christmas:

The focus peaking options make the manual focusing very easy. It's a nice lens to use when I can take my time. Anyone else use vintage on digital?

    Very nice!

I use Olympus OM lenses on my Canon body with a little adapter-ring. In particular the 50mm 1.4 is excellent for portraits.

This was shot with the 135mm from the same line of lenses

I tried wildlife shooting with a manual zoom once but got a headache from the strain of trying to see if I had the focus right. Bloody animals wouldn't stay still which didn't help.

The bokeh in the first and last shots is lovely.

I've an old Nikkor 105mm f2.5. I don't use it enough at all but wouldn't let it go.

This is a recent shot of my bud!

I picked up a Carl Zeiss Pancolar 50mm f1.8 a cuple of days ago. Yet to give it a test but curious to see how it differs from the Helios.
