Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Walshb will at least be happy to know AJ isn’t going to be fighting Delboy!

AJ- Whyte II on April 13th?

    Chisora KO/TKO
    Aj the greatest pretender.

AJ will go down in my estimation quite a bit if the Whyte rematch is next. Which looks inevitable

Well Whyte maintains that he took the last fight at short notice with a dodgy shoulder and still chinned AJ in the second round. He's fought through Parker, Chisora (twice), and Lucas Browne. He deserves a second shot, but I think the result will be the same. AJ is just too big.

I know, and these are the things Hearn will keep trotting out in the buildup. He's a slugger but he just doesn't hold a flame to Fury or Wilder imo.

I don't know what the situation is with AJ and those two, both sides are claiming the other is to blame but Fury v Wilder was put together fairly seamlessly which indicates to me that Hearn is perfectly happy to have AJ fight the Whytes of the world and keep the huge money rolling in.

    Hahaha this is cringe.

Joshua asking the crowd, then saying he doesn't want to hear any boo's if it is made.

Joshua, selling this fight is just ****ing weird. Here comes Eddie to sell this **** show.

Carl put in a great shift tonight, but I think we seen his better days, I had actually voted in the other thread for Warrington by Ko. I just felt he's beginning to show he can hit hard and is much fresher than Carl. Great fight, but a rematch would go the same way. A third fight with LSC might not be a good idea either

    Whyte KO/TKO
100% it's Joshua - Whyte rematch. Joshua cleans him out, Whyte is technically terrible.

Disappointed in Frampton performance..seemed to be outthought tactically and stunned by Warrington’s start. Warrington has some engine but he doesn’t have much class and I think he’d get well beaten by Santa Cruz.

End of the road for Frampton now prob. Pity he had all the legal sh*t that went on as it probably took away 10% minimum from him unfortunately.

Can anyone tell me what the betting was on Frampton v Warrington? Seeing lots of "Warrington stuns Frampton" type things on twitter - I would have thought beforehand that Warrington was highly fancied?

It was an upset, not huge, but Carl a favorite could well be argued..

Frampton was around a 1/3 favourite.

Like it or not he has gone downhill since he went to Jamie Moore. I Just don't think Moore is a good trainer.
Also I'll say it again- Frampton is a very small Featherweight, again he just looked tiny tonight.
He doesn't look half as lean as he did a SBW.

    Whyte KO/TKO
Could only give Frampton three rounds myself.

Clearly not the same fighter since he's left the McGuigans. Massive shame. Fair play to Warrington. A fight with Valdez is a guaranteed fight of the year contender.

Frampton classy as always in defeat.

No Santa Cruz would be a disaster. Hard to see where Carl goes from here. Maybe step aside? He's had a great career . Doesn't need to prove anything really

They are taling about single actual exciting fights.

For me the first Benn vs Eubank and the Eubank vs Watson fights are what got me hooked.
By the time Collins came along Eubank was just not mentally there any more.

That was refreshing to see, he said he lost to the better man on the night, fair play not a lot of fighters can admit it straight away.

Not convinced any version of Carl would have won..

May have. May have been closer. I thought he fought hard and well, and showed real fitness, despite tiring...

Josh has a style and strengths that match up well against a guy like Carl, who is not all that heavy a hitter. This, allowing a Warrington to be very competitive..

I saw him 1 to 2 with most bookies. Warrington around the 15/8 mark...so not exactly a buster Douglas type upset by any means. Also on the other response. ..do you think k carl should continue now?

Cruiser was weak at the time.

Eubank went straight from Super Middle to Cruiser and gave Thompson hell over 2 fights. Thompson was the same guy that Knocked out Haye.

Carl the Cat was literally the most value for money fighter in that era. He was always in great fights.

Yeah Cruiser was 190 at the time. Eubank went straight up from 168 to 190 and then went back down to fight Calzaghe at 168 when Collins retired.

    Those were the days!!!

I thinks Carl's problem is going to be money, he's in a dispute with BMcG over money, he got a huge tax bill too. I think he'll fight another few to get a few quid into the retirement fund.
