Ronnie will be playing Mark Allen in exhibitions in late June 2018 in Mullingar, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny and Belfast:

one would wonder how much the players make off these type of events. i wonder is it their main earner

Would only be guessing but goes without saying Ronnie doesnt come cheap and Jimmy would still be able to command tasty appearance money too. Ronnie earned nearly 700k in prize money this season alone so I wouldnt say he's doing these things for the cash, as sweet as it still would be. Think he gets a kick out of it and enjoys the pressure free atmosphere. Its not always about the money.

Not at 30 quid a ticket in a hotel function room to a couple of 100 odd people.

With the exception of Ronnie, the others who are touring- Jimmy or Ken/Steve playing in Galway have made little or nothing in prize money this year. Or are retired in the case of Steve.

Outside top 20 or top 32 prize money is average industrial wage level. If you are lucky.

Shame they couldn't fit in a Dublin leg, would have liked to go see them.

Maybe they don't want to cannibalise Ken and Dennis Taylors event in Faughs GAA in Templeogue.

Was at the one in letterkenny, Jimmy got in first in first 3 frames, 30 odd breaks, Ronnie hardly missed a ball, 3 centuries, Jim had a 89. Great night.
