Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This strange fossil had baffled scientists for decades but usually was interpreted as some sort of invertebrate. Now it turns out to be a stem lamprey- with stalked eyes and a long toothed proboscis.

The word 'gak' comes to mind. Mother Nature has proven herself to be amazingly inventive over the years, but I think that she outdid herself here by a couple of orders of magnitude.
