Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The house was wired with 42 strand cable 3 years ago. Most of the ceiling speakers I have seen discussed are way out of my budget.

I'm aware you get what you pay for but has anyone experience with Sabre CSl-603 http://soundproductions.ie/store-2/csl-603/ ?

    Hi,

Those speakers are not normal home audio speakers - the mention of 100v in the spec is important, they’re designed for commercial installations and associated equipment - see here for info https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constant-voltage_speaker_system.

Thanks a lot Ritz. The details on the reference page are over my head without a big study. Anyway, from what you are saying 100v speakers are not suitable for playing music.

I would be very appreciative if anyone could commend a decent budget ceiling speaker.

@slave1, I appreciate you responding. I have 6 speakers to get and would love to get them for €300.

@Ritz I read that they can be easily converted to low impedance for home use simply by disconnecting the attached transformer. Would that work?
