Getting rid of "Go SaVVe" extension/virus? HELP!

Its an extension that is causing green icons and ads everywhere on chrome - except deleting it as an extension in the chrome settings isn't working, Its not appearing in the uninstall a programme list, and I have no idea where it came from.

I have exactley the same thing on mine and nothing I have tried yet has worked. Will try that link and keep the fingers crossed.
