Dark Ambient recommendations?

Howdy there.

Been knocking a lot of use lately out a new pair of pricey headphones and an amp - probably my only luxury in life - and I've recently discovered that if you're listening to it from a good source and with quality equipment then dark ambient music can be absolutely mind blowing, especially late at night. I'm kind of loathe to use the term, it seems a bit snooty, but you know what I mean. Anyone out there with some huge ominous recommendations?

The album "Stalker" by Robert Rich and B Lostmord is epic.

Some for the tunes off Robert Richs Soma album are very good too. Blood music for one.

Was listening to a bit of Lustmord alright. Hersey is a genuinely scary piece of music, really quite awesome stuff.

Was listening to this album today. Not solely ambient strictly speaking, there's some techno and noise in there, but it really got me itching for similar sounds.

I'm really enjoying this one at the moment and I'd say the label in general is worth a browse for dark ambient... I certainly intend to.

Two new nice darkish releases out this week. 'Scarlet Locust of These Columns' by Lussuria and Phillipe Hallais does a fine little seamless mix of recordings done by Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement entitled 'Simulated Thunderstorm'. Looking forward to listening to the second mix on this RES tape while going on a long drive later on. Fantastic dubby synthy dark ambient brilliance.
