Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best place to sell furniture

Hi, when we bought our house a few years ago, we bought the contents with it however it's not to our taste and we're finally getting around to selling it so we can buy something that suits us better.

The couches (two seater, three seater & chez long) and chair (one single) are leather and what looks like mahogany and the two coffee tables have marble tops (that weigh a lot). All are in very good condition.

I don't know anything about them, where they were bought, for how much or how old they are so I've no idea where the best place to sell them would be or how much to ask for. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Picture of two seater couch and the larger table attached.

DoneDeal has always worked brilliantly for me. I was in the same situation as you and sold all my pieces on DoneDeal.

DD can be a good place, also found the local adverts in Facebook excellent at getting stuff shifted.

DoneDeal is usually the first stop for me either buying or selling.

As mentioned by NIMAN above, if you search for local "Buying and Selling" groups on Facebook you can often shift bulky items much more quickly than on Donedeal (which is still great).

Often within a single day because so many people watch their local area's group.

Adverts.ie linked up top is another option if you're cool with the open bidding style.
