    You’ve probably already spent your money but....Silk is a nightmare to sew because it’s very slippy and you’d need to think about what needle to use and adjusting the foot pressure.

    If you’re a newbie sewer, start with sewing cotton. I’d only buy an Overlocker as an extension to a basic sewing machine, not instead of.
