I think the Pro Tour and European Tour deserve their own threads.

Ciaran Teehan out in R1 today but Keane Barry, Steve Lennon and Willie O'Connor all through to R2.

    Barry beat Danny Baggish.

Barney beaten in R1 by Bunting.

Delighted to see Keane Barry get the win, Teehan has work to do to stay on the Tour.

Lennon also into the L32 along with Barry. Willie lost 6-3 in R2 to Van Der Voort.

Barry is playing Ian White at the moment.

Keane threw to last 16 this is a great start for him.

Yeah great run for Keane, has to give huge confidence.

Clayton against Joe Cullen coming up in the final. Both have played great stuff today.

    Cullen wins
Two in form players in fairness
    Great stuff from Keane Barry
I was following the Lennon Dolan game, Dolan bust 9 in the deciding leg
The standard is crazy in these tournaments

Have you signed up to PDC TV? It was only £2.99 for the 4 days. Two streams going at any one time. Great value.

I'm supposed to be working from home :D

I have it at home on a dodgy box i do little enough in work if i starting watching darts it would be the end of me !

I see Clemens has put Keane out again today.

Teehan just one his game and through to next round good for him to get a win.

Aaron Beeney knocks out Price to reach the L32. He must have put in some amount of practice these last few months!

Willie O'Connor beaten in the L64 by Suljovic. Barney also out in the L64, not a great start from him.

Ciaran Teehan smashed Durrant 6-0 to make the L32

Keane was 5-3 up and had match darts but just couldn't put it away.

Ciaran Teehan just had an excellent 6-0 win over Glenn Durrant.

I was listening to the commentary in the matches were they mentioned it's the furthest he's ever got in a PDC tournament

Really interesting last 16 today. Eight from outside the British Isles and 8 different nationalities. Would have been fairly unthinkable a decade ago and unlikely even 5 years ago. You can really see the step up in standard too. Qschool 1 the daily average was in the mid 70’s, Q school 2 was the mid 80’s and yesterday it jumped to 92. The standard across the board is pretty incredible now.

**** didn’t realise that option was available or I’d have signed up!

Mathers seems to hold on to the dart a bit longer or just me.

Barney into the final. Looked very good throwing against White there

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,996 ✭✭✭boomdocker

    Barney won

You have to hand it to Barney, he proved a huge amount of doubters wrong yesterday.

Hopefully some good runs for the Irish lads today.

Tough Draws today for the Irish Contingent:

William O'Connor vs Vincent Van Der Voort

    Steve Lennon vs James Wade

    Keane Barry vs Alan Tabern

Brendan Dolan vs Rowby John Rodriguez

    Mickey Mansell vs Gordon Mathers

Keane Barry and Dolan with the easiest on paper

    That is a fact
Looks like he has come back with a way better attitude than before he retired
And that throwing action of his is a thing of beauty
I was watching him yesterday against Alan Soutar, who has quite a hard, aggressive throw and his rhythm and languid style looked so good in comparison

He has a few quid now to rebuild his broken wall ðŸ˜႒

Not a great day so far for the Irish lads

Lennon, Teehan and Barry all lost in the first round, O'Connor losing 5-1 to Vincent Van Der Voort

All Irish lost in the first round. Poor day for them.

Poor series for O'Connor. Didn't do much at all.
