Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So Seattle has hired a convicted pimp, Andre Taylor, who was convicted of running a prostitution operation — which included pimping underage girls, to be their "street czar" and is now paid a $150K salary to Consult on Police ‘Reform’. As a street czar, his contract tasks him to “provide recommendations to the City on de-escalation, community engagement, and alternatives to policing.”

Andre Taylors own his definition: "A street czar is a person who has a particular genius in a particular area". No, he is simply a convict. An opportunist is simply interested in only himself.

    NY Post

It shows you what white so called leaders , think about the black community.
They wouldn’t hire a white pimp, to reach out to the white community.

I wasn't the one expressing dismay at the impact to businesses.

No one has yet to answer why they have such concern over one type of damage, and apathy towards the other much greater amount.

Eh yes they have. Stop lying. Looting, vandalism and criminal damage are all done puposely. Forest fires aren't... except for in cases of arson... like linked above.

    I know you weren't. I think that's the point.

But yes you are correct in a manner of speaking "no one has ... to answer" anything of the sort

It remains that derailing the thread with a discussion of an (unsupported) belief that some posters hate trees or whatever definitly has nothing to do with this thread.

And so back to the discussion....

This is a BLM thread. That's why the attention is on BLM.

Give over Omackeral, if people here were so concerned with such righteousness, they would express such views across the board, not selectively.

Maybe they would like to offer why they are so concerned about black businesses, but not about black citizens?

Black businesses are run by black citizens. Destroying Black businesses has a negative impact on black citizens, in fact all citizens.
Not all black citizens support BLM either as it happens.

Erm.... I think most people are concerned about citizens. Of all colours. But what they don't support is looting and rioting. By people of any colour.

Who are these unnamed individuals you find to be morally suspect because they have termerity to denounce violence, looting and burning?

And as far as I can see looking at the comments in this thread that is inclusive of all US citizens and their places of work / businesses. It's obvious such violence affects people of all races regardless. Why do you suggest otherwise?

I wouldn't agree with that behaviour. At all. But I'm not sure I would refer to them as vile scum for such behaviour either.

Or would you suggest the men in this video are vile scum?

If they did assault her, it's not clear from the video that they did, then it's likely they are scum.

On a side note, why the need for her to refer to them as white?

I was racially abused in public - shoved into a fence and called an ugly white bitch.

When I complained to the nearest official person and asked to point out the offender, apparently saying “the black lady wearing green here..” was “racist” and they no longer wanted to know.

Can someone tell me when my privilege starts please ??

Well I answered your one about vandalism, looting and arson being 100% intentional whereas forest fires are not. You barely addressed it. So yes, you expect answers and when you get them back and in a logical fashion, you sinply deflect.

It was after a few rounds of “her ?”, “no to the left ...” Sometimes a black person is just a black person - there’s no malice, no insult, just an identification.

Looks like many American cities will be red hot this weekend.

The BLM mob tried to burn down the Louisville Library last night, understandable given their ideological position but reprehensible.

    Extended through weekend.

The mob took sanctuary in a Church. The police surrounded it.

Funnily enough some black activists were demanding the whites be pushed out to make room, in to the hands of the police.

Given most of the crowd were white, as usual, it took no traction.

The man who was appointed by Mayor Lightfoot to be Chicago’s “Census Cowboy” rode his horse during rush hour on the expressway and was seen kicking & whipping the horse repeatedly when it tried to slow down when it was clearly in pain from the extensive damage to its hooves because of him not preparing the horse and providing it with adequate shoes. The horse collapsed from the pain.

All for just some clout under the guise of "raising awareness". BLM sending their best.

    Chxrst almighty. That's sickening
Law enforcement began trailing Hollingsworth on the expressway until the horse collapsed at around 9500 South Lafayette, Deboni said, adding that onlookers allegedly saw Hollingsworth kicking and whipping the horse to keep it galloping after it slowed down.

Hollingsworth was then stopped and taken into custody....

experts agreed the horse suffered “a great deal” due to its treatment, citing extreme dehydration, overheating and lacerations to its front legs that caused “profuse” bleeding.

“The horse’s eyes were dilated to the point they looked like cartoon eyes,” Deboni said.

Both experts said it would have been “virtually impossible” for anyone to not have realized the animal was injured and in distress, according to Deboni. The horse was given extensive medical treatment, but Deboni said it remains in critical condition and will never be able to be ridden again.

Euthanasia may be used for “humane reasons,” he said, “due to the suffering the animal will likely endure for the rest of its life.”

Hollingsworth is a known activist and pillar in the Chicago community, his defense attorney said Wednesday...

Will there be a counter claim for police brutality because he was taken into custody following that incident - I wonder?
